Tale
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham, who have a long-running rivalry that comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. I’ve never read the books, but I still thought the series looked good, so I went ahead and took it all in in one sitting. The acting was phenomenal and most of the people in this show are so good, especially Alex Hassell, or at least I think he is. It’s no wonder everyone wants to punch Rupert Campbell-Black. He was great in Violent Night and The Boys, even if he’s only in a few episodes. I was surprised to see him naked as Translucent and I was still surprised to see him naked as Rupert. I don’t care if Rupert was meant to be blonde or if people say Alex isn’t that good looking, he’s still hot.
