Nurse Redd: Just thinking about it gives me chills
Tale
A detective and a nun investigate a series of heinous crimes that seem personal, while grappling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers. Ed Lachlan’s Mustang has the same color and license plate number as the car in The Italian Job 2WQI332. Ryan Murphy used to be good at delivering different tales, but now he’s feeling bits and pieces that he thinks should tell him it’s art versus fetish.
I feel some nuns are less conservative but the way she acted was crazy
The lead was an unstable detective who wasn’t sure she kept her job, couldn’t seem to find her way out of the paper bag. Who would honestly discuss a new case with a stranger who claims to be a nun with no real credentials.. The priest just didn’t seem to fit the role as Murphy tried to resemble Evan Peters & it failed.
I know this is a two-part review, but it’s like another season of AHS called something else
Redd was a strange character that seemed too personal to the husband she cared for, I feel there is more to the story, only time will tell. The only thing that was grotesque was the daughter in the first episode dressed in something deliberately tight and ; eat enough food for two people. Who cares about her being pretty or anything else, let her focus on her figure, because apparently that’s how big people are perceived.
The cinematography was okay, but also nothing stellar
The series is full of cliches & plots, maybe stereotypes, but nothing really original. Check out this & judge for yourself, review edits may come after the series is over. Edited Update – Just like in AHS: NYC suddenly in the last few episodes Ryan Murphy flips the switch on the coherence of the story, he probably calls it artistic or a twist, but he shouldn’t #39; don’t let the viewer feel different emotions about the series from disconnected/confused & so on.
